After living most of her life in B.C.,
Kristin has happily called Calgary her home since 2020.
|
|
|
|
|
Kristin has always had an interest in art
and is thankful that it was encouraged
in her formative years.
|
|
|
|
Upon retirement, many satisfying hours were dedicated to finding her personal artistic voice. Soft pastels, and more recently, acrylics, became the choice mediums.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Workshops with established artists have encouraged exploration in subject matter and techniques.
|
|
|
|
Kristin was honoured to receive her Master Pastellist Signature designation from Pastel Artists Canada in 2018. She is also an Exhibiting Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists and has been exhibiting regionally and nationally for over a decade.
