David Harrison

David is an artist and art educator
trained in London, England.

He emigrated to Canada where he earned an MA
from the University of Calgary
and worked for the Calgary Board of Education
as an art teacher, art consultant
and fine arts department head.

He has worked for the
University of Calgary and
the University of Lethbridge
as a sessional instructor.

An elected member of the
Society of Canadian Artists
and the Alberta Society of Artists,
David exhibits in national juried shows as well as
traveling shows throughout Alberta.

He is a speaker, awards juror and art critic
to local arts organizations.
He volunteers for the
Alberta Society of Artists,
and is the national membership director of
the Society of Canadian Artists.
He has been a member of
the Calgary Artists' Society
for over 25 years.
